Children's Ministry

Come to Calvary on any Wednesday night and you will find boys and girls from 3yrs. old through the 6th grade learning God's word, training for Awana games, building cars for the Grand Prix, and having a great time. AWANA strives to teach boys and girls to love God's word and to hide it in their heart at a young age. It also teaches them about missions and the importance of telling people about Jesus. This year they are training for the Awana games, preparing for the Bible quiz, and will soon begin work on some great looking cars. AWANA is a great place for children to learn, grow, and have an incredible time. We also have Wednesday Fellowship Meals served from 5:30pm-6:15pm! $3/adults, $2/kids (12 & under), or $10/family; these meals serve as fundraiser for CBC Ministry Groups (Awana; Aftershock; Loving Hearts).

Success and Children's Church:

We believe it is important for children to learn and grow in an environment that is designed for them with God's Word on their level. Each Sunday we have Children's church for boys and girls ages 3yrs - 2nd grade and "Success" (Junior Worship) for boys and girls in 3rd through 6th grade. Children's church creates an atmosphere of learning through story time, drawing, and more. Success offers time each week for music, Bible study, and interaction with other students.

We just completed a study in Success is "Seven C's of History" from Answers in Genesis.

We are currently studying the book of Revelation in our "Success" worship on Sunday mornings. This study coincides with the Senior Pastor's messages in main worship center. Our goal is to foster family Bible discussions throughout the week.

Activities:

Kids Nite In (Parents Nite Out): Friday, Sept. 24, 6-9pm; Kids K-6 are invited to join us for fun in the gym!

Fall Festival: Sunday, Oct. 31; more details coming soon.

Family is important to Calvary and we want to provide our children with activities that encourage family involvement. Each month we strive to offer an activity that Mom, Dad, and brothers and sisters can be a part of that are fun for everyone. We are excited about this year and what it holds in store for the children of Calvary.
